Handicare stairlifts complaint
These are good stair lifts, I have the 1000 model, however I do not recommend Handicare themselves, some of their engineers are rude impolite, I have an extended warranty with them through Companion Stair Lifts, which I paid over £300 for, one engineer complained about coming out, he even told my brother, if anything goes wrong with the foot plate just fold it up and use it without it, (this was to save him coming out straight away) this is a very dangerous suggestion, as by leaving the foot plate up, my legs hit the stairs and would cause more damage to my legs, my doctor was not pleased with his suggestion, I have also had very impolite and inconsiderate customer service, that does not under stand a persons situation, I have since took out another extended warranty with another company which is way more polite, considerate and helpful. Yes I recommend their stair lifts, but don't recommend them, I recommend you get an alternative dealer to install and for your extended warranty.
